Built-in connector

Pulsar IO connectors import and export data from external systems. Connector implementations are maintained in apache/pulsar-connectors with a release cycle separate from Pulsar core. The server distribution and Docker image do not bundle these connector NARs.

The term built-in refers to a connector installed in the worker's connector directory and selected by name, such as builtin://cassandra; it does not mean the connector ships in the image. Install the required NARs on every worker and verify compatibility with your Pulsar version.

Using any of these built-in connectors is as easy as writing a simple connector and running the connector locally or submitting the connector to a Pulsar Functions cluster.
